Location
Bedale is an attractive market town two miles west of the A1 in North Yorkshire. The golf club is situated at the west end of the main street on the left hand side of the A684 to Leyburn and just past the grounds of Bedale Hall. Directions to the golf club are:
(1) By car (from Leeds): Drive north on the A1 (M) till it becomes the A1 (at Junction 49). Carry on straight up the A1 and exit on the A684 signposted to Leeming Bar and Bedale. Take direction (left) to Bedale, cross over level crossing and continue straight through village of Aiskew, then continue straight on across another level crossing till you meet a T junction at Bedale main street. Turn right onto main street and continue through the centre of Bedale (still on the A 684) until you pass the church on the right hand side and the grounds of Bedale Hall on your left. Bedale Golf Club entrance is clearly signposted, immediately after the grounds of Bedale Hall on the left hand side of the road.
(2) By car (from Newcastle): Drive south on A1( M) till it becomes the A1 at junction 56 and continue on A1 south past Scotch Corner. Exit on the A684 signposted to Leeming Bar and Bedale. Take direction (left) to Bedale, cross over level crossing and continue straight through village of Aiskew, then continue straight on across another level crossing till you meet a T junction at Bedale main street. Turn right onto main street and continue through the centre of Bedale (still on the A 684) until you pass the church on the right hand side and the grounds of Bedale Hall on your left.
