In the heart of North Yorkshire, Bedale provides the golfing gateway to the Dales.
The course, opened in 1894, has all the anticipated benefits of the Dales countryside combined with easy walking and good natural drainage.
It winds through beautiful 18th-century parkland, formerly a deer park, with wide, tree-lined fairways and long-range views of the Wensleydale Hills. Water comes into play on seven holes and the prevailing westerly breeze adds to the test — golfers of every level will find a challenging and enjoyable day's golf here.
The club sits on the outskirts of the thriving Bedale town centre, within two miles of junction 51 of the A1, giving golfers a five-minute journey from the motorway to the first tee.
