'Chip & Sip' Planned for early 2025

22/11/2024

‘Chip & Sip’ at Bedale Golf Club

Club Professional, Steve Pearce, alongside Past Captain (Pam Rawlin) present Captain (Sally Hunt) Vice Captain (Rachel Holden) and Vice Captain Elect (Sheila Grant).

We would like to welcome some new lady members into our very friendly and fun loving section of around 80 members

Pam Rawlin commented, “I joined Steve’s group lessons which was a good and reasonably priced way to try golf. After a few lessons where we learnt the basics and the etiquette of golf we were allowed on the course which was quite scary. We then went on to do some competition golf over 6 holes followed by a few drinks in the club house where Steve would provide prizes. I made lots of new friends and got the bug

Rachel Holden commented, “I was very apprehensive about entering Ladies competitions at first but soon realised how supportive, helpful and welcoming everyone was. Within 2 years of being a member of the club I became Vice Captain and am now really looking forward to my captaincy year in 2025. I have had an amazing first 3 years meeting like-minded ladies who have become true friends”.

So please watch this space or get in touch with the club directly if you are interested and would like further information.
