News from Bedale Golf Club

Captains Scott Gray, Rachel Holden and Junior Captain Thomas Moody had their ‘Captains’ Drive in’ Sunday 23rd March. Great fun was had by all, lots of laughter and smiles, competitive friendly golf and £531 was raised for Dementia Forward, the chosen Charity for this year.

A great success, 20 x ladies enjoyed an introduction to Golf, putting and chipping, run by Bedale’s Pro Steve Pearce and supported by members from the Ladies Section. Although the weather was cold, everyone joined in and after the golf, a buffet and drinks in the Clubhouse followed. Many Ladies have committed to joining further coaching sessions next month

First joint Seniors and Ladies event took place on Friday 28th March. 36 x players took part in a very friendly but competitive match with lots of laughter and smiles and lots of discussion of missed putts and wayward drives was had over a sociable meal in the Clubhouse. Great fun was had by all.
