Warm and welcoming with excellent customer service is always our intention. Stephen and his fantastic team want you to enjoy your stay and experience a proper Yorkshire welcome. With beamed ceilings and log fires we are your quintessential pub and hotel with real ales on tap and our legendary steak pie cooking in the kitchen. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome, and all of our en-suite bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated.All room prices include a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, and we serve meals every day in the restaurant or pub (whichever you prefer). The menu includes all your favourite pub classics including our legendary Steak Pie and our fresh baked home-made Pizzas as well as options for Vegetarians, Coeliac, Vegans etc. We also have a great range of cask ales, all your usual favourite drinks and a few you may have not tried before - I wonder what we can tempt you to try?! Due to the building being a Grade II listed building our rooms are only accessible by stairs meaning the rooms may be unsuitable for any guests with mobility issues.
