Juniors’ Section

Our Head Coach, Steve Pearce, holds group coaching lessons specifically for our junior members. These lessons are generally held on a Saturday and at various times during the school holidays.  John Moody and Karen Moody – Junior Team Co-Ordinators run the Junior section which meets most Saturday mornings at 10.30 for friendly Competitions, new members are welcomed and introduced to other Junior golfers, they are a very friendly group

The Junior Team plays in the Harrogate and District League against other clubs such as Ilkley and Thirsk. Although these matches are friendly competitive, they are also very good fun and are an ideal way of meeting junior golfers from other clubs and playing other courses in the region.

There are Junior competitions to play during the year a such as singles or pairs knock-outs and all the winners during the year are invited to attend Bedale Golf Club Presentation Evening in December to collect their prizes.

If you are keen to play golf for the first time, or if you have played as a Bedale Member previously, or are a member elsewhere, why not come to Bedale and see what we have to offer you. Perhaps we can turn you into the next Tiger Woods,  Juniors meet most Saturdays at 10.30 to Tee off at 11.04, why not come along and join in the fun.
